Helical Spring Energized Seal
Helical Spring Energized Seal
FJSEALS helical spring energized seal is a single-acting seal consisting of a wound corrosion resistant metal spring installed in a U-shaped jacket. The helical shape spring affords a relatively high load versus deflection range resulting in a seal product that provides very tight sealing. This makes it ideal in low pressure, even vacuum applications. As a highly loaded product, helical spring energized seal is ideally suitable when dynamics are very slow or static.
Max. dynamic load | 20Mpa |
Max. static load | 80Mpa |
Reciprocating motion | 5m/s |
Rotary motion | 0.1m/s |
